Henry VIII

by William Shakespeare & John Fletcher

This promenade style performance brought the audience through the rooms of King's Manor in York, which was visited by the historical King Henry in 1541. Along the way the audience learned a courtly dance, participated in a coronation, and had the chance to speak privately to the bereft Queen Katherine.

Produced by The York Shakespeare Project.

Featuring David Barrett, Wil Cox, William Darwin, Joshua Eldridge-Smith, Elizabeth Elsworth, Tony Froud, Ian Giles, Andrew Isherwood, Martina Meyer, Sally Mitcham, Rhuadrhi Oliver, Almaz Rish, Phyllis Carson Smith, Anna Trotman, Samuel Valentine.
