A theatrical rendition of the Franz Schubert song cycle Die schöne Müllerin, set to poems by Wilhelm Müller.
Told from the perspective of a lovesick miller who has drowned himself in a brook, this production looked back on his past. Watery shadow projections spelled out his thoughts, and objects that might be floating in a brook formed faces to represent people he knew in life. A river of silk danced around him, until at last it enveloped him in death.
